Helen Metcalf & Rachie & Leonard have gone to Bermuda for a trip in their old age the same as they went a year ago. Poor Amy needs a vacation but has to go on working. I guess too bad, she must have a hard lot, her disposition is naturally cheerful, so she may be able to carry on.

Mamie Kate is sick abed with a bad cold. She has been going all winter & came home from New Jersey with a bad cold. She is not able to do these things, but does, so has to take the consequences. but probable wont go 'till her time comes.

Dr. Golding is raising the devil over his partner Mr. O'Hara in his store. trying to put him out. going to law has a keeper in Stoughton people are down on Golding & in hopes O'Hare will win out. they will know in a little while now. Dr. Onering is on O'Hara's side, he Golding got his job away from him (School Dr.) so he will go against him you may depend on that.

The family that moved into the house opposite their  name is Holmes. they are very quiet people. he sister lives with her. they must have felt the temperature on that cold side yesterday, should think they might be glad when spring comes their way. glad you are having spring like weather. it may come here soon hope so.

The Clearwater folks are lucky to be away from such. Winslow Drakes family are down there for a short stay.
