I see over to the Elmes house they are having the branches of their oaks trimmed up to the trees that hang over the roof. one fell on to their stained glass window & roof which put them to great expense to have it removed. their little dog came over to see us when he came to spend thanksgiving there. he lives with Barbara now, but does'nt forget us. he is a dear.

We have managed to get our clothes dried out on the porch we had a great time in putting out the line. so many of the branches on that cordelia tree had blown off in the gale, it was hard work to get the rope around the limb you would laughed to have seen us stand up on the window sill to reach out to put the rope around the limb. then we had to give it up & finally had to put it over with the aid of the broom. Addie came to the door & said what in the world are you trying to do. but we finally got it fixed to suit, & now we are fixed for the winter & wont have to go out in the snow to hang our clothes

Myrtie has come down from Vermont in this last snow storm over the road to take care of Mrs Heart Alfredo, wifes mother who had a shock their tires blew out twice & they finally reached Alices at 12 O'clock.

Mrs Barrys sister & sons wife are going home from the hospital tomorrow. the daughter in law with her leg in a plaster cast a fractured bone will go in an ambulance. Ma
