The two bundles came through all right.

Dear Folks, 
            We are still having nice summer weather. We
dont have any frosts. the leaves are turning + fast falling
from the trees. most of the branches have been cleared away 
+ after the rain of Friday, were [[?]] every thing over to the
old place seems clean + now after taking away the branches
next to Petes in our woods, things will become normal. 
Welches back yard they say is a sight. full of fallen 
trees it has'nt been touched. she expects it to be cleared
away for the wood. they says its worth a thousand 
dollars to clean it out. I dont suppose she has the means 
to pay for the job. the ones who have passed away before
this disaster came upon us, are the lucky ones. New England 
was hard hit + lost her beautiful trees. I received a 
letter from Wallance Pinnimein this week he and his
wife were in Seco ^ Maine when the hurricane struck them +
said they had to stay there a fortnight before they could 
get home to Walpole NH, but found their little house still 
standing but Dorothy their daughter home was used badly
