any more than a bird Bill took her home before he took Mrs Barry over to Holbrook where she wanted to go after supper, to see Mrs Smiths people who she used to work for, she died & the funeral is this after noon. as she could'nt [[couldn't]] go to the funeral she wanted to go see the family.

They are going on a picnic this afternoon to give her sister an outing. Mr Turner comes for them this noon they are making up the sand witches [[sandwiches]] that they are going to take & the grocer is going to bring up an angel cake soon Mrs Barry furnishes the grub Amy is going to take her food so guess they will have a plenty. Mr Turner will be in his elements for he loves picnics. I have been invited but know better than except, so instead will have a quiet day at home. tomorrow they are going to Phoebie Hills & go to just call on Laura & then she will go home to Barberton the next day. I have enjoyed her visit & go up stairs to rest up when the talk tires me too much. its a change & she is very nice & likes me. Bill is good & it seemed good to see him. he stayed till eleven Oclock [[O'clock]] but I went off to bed as usual. he never tires me.
