Dear Doris

We have had a hot week, but early in the day the cloud came up out of the North West & we have had it cool & its rained all day. I am wearing my sweater & feel comfortable. We see by the weather report that you have been sweltering also. though only a few degrees hotter than us.

Mr Turner took us for a ride yesterday. I went up to see Alice at the Sewals while they parked down by the water just below at legion park way & then came for me & brought me home & they went for a longer ride. a short ride answers for me these days. I came home & did my washing & are my supper & Lena came, then pretty soon they came from a long ride.

Mr Turner takes his sons old car, the poor man is in hopes to be able to get his care out on the road sometime. he makes some money by getting people up suites. Louis Dykeman always has his suits made by him. he also makes Dr Faxons suits
