Dear Folks,

We are having it warm today after a thunder shower this morning around three o'clock which I never woke up to, but there may be more to follow as it is very muggy & still.

She has just been to church & is now going to do the dinner. I hope the air comes up soon, I have put in two more screens & Friday I have put them into the dining room windows. Little things like that seem great tasks to me now. I have fixed the camp stool so that one can use it now that was a task. things I used to enjoy seem hard to me now, I guess its because I'm growing old, don't you?

Mrs. Reynolds daughter was to church today with the mother & Mrs. Barry said she looked fine, she got over her operation all night & is well as ever. Mary Laython worships for her children. They are fond of her & will miss her when she passes on. It's a pity they never married. the boy is a sissy & will have to be weaned. Mabel has more spunk & will survive. She is smart but works too hard, loves the dollar
