States that the Baptists - white and colored - own a church in that place, and that the whites are willing to relinquish their claims to the same for $500.00 and recommends that such sum be donated to them, provided they repair the building thoroughly. Also recommends that a Freedmen's School be erected at that place and that the sum of $2000.00 be appropriated for that purpose. |
