| April 25 99 | Branch E.C. * Teacher F 21 Apr. 1870 | Jacksonport Ark. April 22, 1870. Reports that the citizens of Jacksonport have purchased two eligible lots on which are several beautiful shade trees, and an excellent well of water near. The citizens are fully committed in favor of erecting a school house for freedmen, and these lots have been purchased without sectarian or partizan bias. | |
