ISAAC P EVANS, Treasurer TIMOTHY HARRISON, Secretary OFFICE OF EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF INDIANA YEARLY MEETING OF FRIENDS, FOR THE RELIEF OF FREEDMEN Richmond, Ind. 1 mo 20, 1866 W. M. Colby Supt of Schools - Ark Dear Friend Thy letter of Nov. 13. is just received, informing us that there is an objection to L.P. Bogue as a teacher - Under these circumstances it would be better to send her home at once, as her staying in Arkansas will only increase the expense - In regards to her [[continuing?]] about Lauderdale, I would say that her letters were not written in such a way as to lead us to conclude that, but rather that she dreaded going so far South by herself at that season of the year - In regards to purchasing a site at Little Rock for a schoolhouse, I would remark that you will have a clear answer within two weeks probably, I should be glad to see such a purchase made. I remain Sincerely Thy Friend Timothy Harrison
