paid for board & lodging, $7.75 for necessary personal expenses, such as washing, cots for beds, etc.  I have also included wages per month which the A.M.A agree to pay Miss Tenney  ($15.) and myself ($25.) making a total of $79.50.
We expect to receive wages from A.M.A. at the close of our services.  The other expenses we expected would be paid by the A.M.A. (as above stated) unless, as is hoped, the income from our school should suffice.
This month we have received but one dollar.  We have been so uncomfortably situated, our school has been so frequently broken into by meetings of which we had no intimation until we cam to the house to teach that we have not thought
