States the freedmen of Hangers Mills desire to establish a school. The proprietors will lease one acre of ground without charge and the freedmen can put up a school house if aided by the Bureau to the amount of $100. Recommends that this amount be appropriated for the purpose. Chas. Lee. Thos Wilson & Saml Davis compose the board of trustees and will have charge of the erection of the building.
