Esteemed Friends

Thy letter of 5 mo. 28 is received and contents noted, we are again obliged for the suggestions in regard to Transportation money but I hardly see how we can call on Gen. Howard for the money till the teachers return home I have however written to Gen. Howard asking whether we can obtain Transportation for our teachers home - If we can I will immediately send blanks for the Teachers to be signed in Triplicate.

I wrote to E. M. Butler on the receipt of thy letter requesting him to continue the school for the full time unless directed differently by the committee -

I received word from Helena that the matter of Transportation had been attended [[strikethrough]] [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] there, so I hope that it will be received

I remain
Sincerely thy Friend
Timothy Harrison
