Desires the establishment of a school at Lewisville and states that responsible freedmen guarantee teacher who furnishes the qualifications of a gentleman and scholar permanent employment and good pay — at least $75.00 per month. They will also build a schoolhouse. Mr. Haskill, a former teacher, "was not satisfactory" to the freedmen.
