Sir,

In reply to your esteemed communication of the 15th inst. I have the honor to inform you that I have made a request on Mrs Sarah Henly, teacher at the Col'd Baptist Church, to furnish you with a school report for September, but she has not yet replied my communication as requested by me.  I will send her a polite request tomorrow to explain her silence.

Mrs. Ruby Griswold did not teach any scholars during the month of September 1867.
