to confound the mighty, there  may I not the be encouraged to labor on believing A will not be in vain, I do wish to regulate all my thoughts and acts according to the genuine principle of christianity and then I shall find much to love and be grateful for even in this self-denying work, and as I journey on leaning on his arm of mercy which is strong to save and mighty to deliver I shall derive strength to battle for the right, we do need this strength so much here to enable us to exercise that charity that covereth a multitude of sins, for foes without and foes within obstruct our faith to heaven but we must remember that it is God that giveth the increase, I have great confidence in our labors that they will accomplish great good if they are as actuated with the right motives, which I trust we all are, hoping, so I remain
