Kind friend,
My letter has not yet been taken to the P.O. therefore I will address you a few more lines.  I came over here yesterday from Judge Coulter's.  It was so unpleasant last week, the workmen did not quite finish my school house, it will be completed today, then I shall commence school tomorrow.  My school report for this month will not be very flattering.  I am now two miles from the P.O. if at any time I should fail to answer your communications promptly, please give me a little credit, for the distance I am from town. In looking over my papers I do not find the "rules for school." It is doubtless
