I am instructed to say, by Ex Mayor Newton that the communication addressed to him, sometime since, was acted on by the Council, and he was requested to state to you, to proceed with your School House. and rest assured the hearts, effort and good will of the God, would be with you but in his humid business his report was mislaid - hence the delay.  As present Mayor I am glad to be able to report same
