grantors in the above deed to me personally well known and generally acknowledged that they personally voluntarily executed and delivered the foregoing deeds for the ease purposes and considerations therein and expressed and set forth and desired the same to be certified. Under the same day and at the same place came Emma to Johnston wife of James and Johnston and Am E. Latham wife of John B. Latham and of full age and to me well known, who being then by me examined in the absence of their said husband do and the contents of the foregoing Deed being by me fully explained to them. They declared that they had of their own free will expected the same for the purposes therein expressed without compulsions or undue influence of their said husbands, and desired the same to be certified. As with for my hand and notarized seal.
