Be it known that I William E. Wooddruff of the city of Little Rock in the State of Arkansas in consideration of the sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) to me in hand paid, do hereby grant bargain and sell unto Jacob K. Shepherd of Chicago Illinois in Trust for the American Missionary Association, and his successors in office and, their assigns forever, the following described Lots and businesses. Viz: Lots no Seven (7) and Eight (8) in block or Square no six (6) in Woodruffe Addition west and south of the Town of Pine Bluff, in the County of Jefferson and State aforesaid the said Lots being of the dimensions and extent That the same are represented and designated on the Plat of said additions to said Town, and subject to all the conditions limitations and restrictions specified in a bill of assurances made and executed by myself and Wife on the 1st day of May 1855, and with the above mentioned Plat of said additions duly Recorded in the Clerks Office of the said County of Jefferson on the 24th day of April, 1857, in Record Book "I" pages 630, 631, 632, 633, 634, 635 and 636, and that for the consideration aforesaid I and my heirs shall and will warrant and forever defend the same unto the said Jacob R. Truster as aforesaid, and his successors in office and their assigns from and against the lawful claims of all persons
