The prejudice against this enterprise, or any other leading to the moral and social elevation of the colored race, is overwhelming, in this place wickedly so, I want to see them succeed in their noble efforts to rise. Will you please reply to this at your earliest convenience? They are naturally very anxious lest after all the expected prize eludes their grasp.
