It is proposed to erect a brick public schoolhouse here, which will accommodate about three hundred pupils. I have been consulted as to the best kind of building for that purpose, and spoke of the work on school architecture published by Genl Howard. They request me to write to you for one. (I gave the one I had to other parties interested in schools, about forty miles from here.) Any advice that you can give them will be most acceptable.
