Batesville Ark. February 1st 1869

Mr Colby;

Dear Sir;

I received your letter yesterday informing me that you have on hand a few of Camp's Intermediate Geographies for A.M.A schools. I understand also that at the time of the dedication of my school-house Rev Mr Miller announced that a donation would be made to this school of a complete set of outline maps. These maps have never been received here to my knowledge but thus far it has made no difference as I could not have used them to advantage in my school had they been here. But now my scholars are further advanced and I would like to form a Geography class as soon as possible so the maps would be a great help.
Have you the maps in your possession and can you forward them soon? Enclosed find 75 cents for Camp's Intermediate Geography which you will please to send immediately.

Your Respectfully,

Pamelia A. Hand
