Yours to Prince Gossett and others is Received and in Reply we have to say that we have been to considerable trouble and expens in order to comply with the Requirements of your Circulars the benefit of which we aimed to accept Mr. Meers was kind enough to give one acre of Land it is under fens we are organized in to a School Board of five col persons we have done all we can do we Raly need the amount we asked you for if we can get am't we will have @ house Ready by June and that is soon as we can spare our Children to go to School we have to have them to help us work this Spring  Mr Meers Com School Trustee has funds enough to pay @ teacher to teach 4 months this year all we lack is the house if you will aid us we will be thankful we can't build with less than 600 Dollars and that is very Scant for @ House There is no house here that can be wrented If you will let us have the required am't let us know
