one acre in a square and the said acre of land is bought and selected by the colored population of this District for the sole purpose to build a schoolhouse thereon for the benefit of their own, situated in the county and State aforesaid, with all the oppurtenances and privileges thereto.  To have and to hold the above granted premises to him, the said party of the second part and his successor or successors in office for ever.  And I the said party of the first part, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators do covenant with him the said party of the second part and his successor or successors in office and do hereby relinquish all my claims, right or feasability of Domain in or out the the afore granted premises, and convey the same to the said party of the second part and his successor or successors in office for ever, against the lawfull claims and demands of all persons whatsoever.

In testimony whereof, I the said party of the first part have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 8th day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine.
