I asked him why it would be necessary, at the same time saying we would of course do so if it was his wish. He palavered about what forms were to be gone through with and I finally concluded he was meaning the certificates and so handed them to him. He said "Oh! Oh! They were all right" and concluded we might as well keep school. He talked to the scholars in both rooms and said he would send the contracts to be signed the next day. He sent the notices for distribution but the contracts we have heard nothing from since, though
