Mr. Wm M. Colby,
Little Rock, Ark.

Dear Sir:
I have just rec'd a letter from Mr. Clark, Treas A.M.A. asking me, if I am willing to wait for a balance due me, until something definite is heard from you concerning the payment to me of the state funds. I told him that I had written to you, and said I would write again.

Please let me know if possible, by return mail.

Yours Very Resptly &c
