Dr. Sir,

I have just come in from a short vacation, and receive your Receipts & blank Repts. I taught the Month of Aug. & Sept. in the county. My School numbered 112 different pupils, with an average daily attendance of nearly 90. I taught them all alone, by teaching two hours each day, and seven days in each week. The seventh being a Sunday School given Entire Satisfaction to all without an exception and the progress surpassed anything I have had before. I reopened in Jacksonport Oct. 11th I am obliged to pay rent for the two months vacation in order to retain the house. Can I be allowed rent for this short vacation,? and shall I report my country school? Yours Truly
