Dear Friend

The cloud which has pervaded my pathway for the past two months is becoming a little brighter.

Mr. Millen wrote from your city, that he would try to be here the last of this month, but he has not yet come. I think he can arrange things more satisfactory.

I have found out why I have been treated with such ingratitude. If I had attended the Methodist (Samuels) Sabbath school, first & employed Anderson Marshall to teach, all would have gone well. Samuels & Marshall are said
