Dear Sir, 

Enclosed you will find Mr Leo's account which I hope will prove satisfactory.  The interior of the schoolhouse is greatly improved in appearance, the doors and windows that were shrunken were refitted.  The building is now ready for occupation.  It has been impossible for me to get any responsible mechanic to make an estimate of the cost of fencing the place with a view of taking the contract on the grounds that the delay in getting their money from the government would not pay them for the length of time they would be out of their investment for labor and lumber.  The teachers we have expected have not arrived.  Your visit I think aroused our school board and they have made some wholesome changes.  They claim that at present they have all the teachers
