I was sorry not to have seen you when you called but have been away nearly all the time since I was at the Rock  

Colored School of Philips Bayou No. 5 Phillips C.D. Chamberlain Trustee, commenced on the 20th Feby Miss Bergstresser teaching. 

On Monday one opens in No. 6. A Bobo Trustee. a Mrs Hendrick from Md teaching, and one opens at [[Mouanee?]] on Same Day R. Scott Trustee No 13. Phillips. Rev Louis from Oberlin teaching

Looked online for all cities in Arkansas that start with the letter M; could not figure out Morcance? Monana? 2. At a stretch it could be Monarch? 3. Comparing the line with Monday, the first three letters are Mon I'm pretty sure it's either 'Monance' or 'Monanee' For the name following Rev, I'm unsure of the first letter, but I believe the following letters are 'onis'
