Sir,
Excuse me for obtruding myself upon you. The interest I feel in the educational System as adopted in this state is my excuse for so doing - 

Mr: D.C. Casey, our excellent District Superintendent saw me to day and requested me to put myself in correspondence with you & I loose no time in doing so. I am one of his Trustees in this county & have four schools in successful operation in my district [[strikethrough]]for[[/strikethrough]]of the county - two white & two colored. I wish to build a house at this point for a colored school, but am short of funds - I have selected an acre of ground adjoining the village for a site & can get a good title to it by the Middle of June next - or sooner if
