Herewith I have the honor to enclose a memorial from Mrs. Alida Clark setting forth the clarions of the institution of which she is Matron for Government aid, which I respectfully commend to the favorable consideration of this commissioner.  While the Indiana Friends have been unfortunate not to say vascillating, in the management of their work at Little Rock of late, they have on the contrary wisely continued and sustained Mr. and Mrs. Clark at the Orphan Asylum from the beginning.
