State Supt of Education for Arkansas

My Dear Sir
I wrote you a year ago in relation to the practicality of establishing a Normal School at Little Rock under the auspices of the United Presbyterian Board of Freedmen's Missions - and your reply was both favorable and encouraging - but I was lead by our Supt of Education for Miss Capt H. R. Kase to make the effort here - In Mississippi but finally it proved too late to succeed in getting such patronage from the State as we had hoped - because the A.M.A. went ahead of us I now repeat
