The 1st term of colored schools in this District terminates on the 15th Inst. The 2nd term will be carried on by the patrons of public schools by subscription with one weeks intermission. The White Schools terminate also at same time but will not be resumed by subscription until September.

This difference as to commencement of terms is due to the agricultural interests
