Know all men by these presents That we R L  King and A.J. Millard & U A Cantrell, of the City of Little Rock, County of Pulaski and State of Arkansas, are held and firmly bound unto the United States in the sum of two thousand dollars lawful money of the United States for the faithful performance on the part of R. L King, of the city of Little Rock, County and State aforesaid, of a contract entered into this 14th day of June 1870, with Wm M. Colby, Supt Education Bureau RF&A.L. State of Arkansas, is in behalf of the United States, for the purpose of erecting a school house at Rocky Comfort, Little River, County Arkansas, in accordance with the terms of said contract.

The conditions of this obligation are such that if the above bounden R. L. King, his heirs, executors, administrators or any of them, shall in all things well and truly Keep and perform all and singularly the covenants conditions and agreement contained
