Transcription Notes:
[[note]] the money with only two digits are cents, not dollar amts. |---:| means to right-align the number column. This was in the older INSTRUCTIONS (I found it in either in the Advanced or the Style Sheet) before they changed in August or September. **Richard Levister - There is no Lerister or Lerester in N.C. in the U.S. Censuses. This man's name is spelled many ways on these images. 1860 Slave Schedule (owned slaves) and 1860 U.S. Census, and 1850 U.S. Census, all spell it Levister. He has a PEARCE family living around him, according to the 1860 Slave Schedule. Richard lived in Franklinton, Franklin Co., N.C., not far from Henderson (city). Do - in the money column means repeat what is above - like 60, or 50.
