The letterhead looks like the word that would seem to be Abandoned in Bureau of Refugees Freedmen and Abandoned Lands is spelled with an extra d instead of an n as Abandoded.
Also believe text written over originally read as 1st Lieut 42d Infantry (based on other transcribed documents). Wasn't sure if should include as a strikeout.
