Cia. Mexicana de AviaciĆ³n, S.A.
Burbank, California

Dear Sam:

Please forgive my failure to write to you sooner. Since my transfer to CMA I have had to make two trips to the Panama Canal, including stop-overs at every station from Guatemala down, besides a trip to Miami and Havana and another trip to Brownsville, all on PAA business. Upon my return here I found serious pilot trouble, and that has taken every moment of time until Saturday afternoon, when we signed an agreement. Just now I am trying to arrive at an agreement with American Airlines regarding the use of certain facilities at Monterrey, and as soon as this agreement is perfected I am going to Texas for medical attention in an effort to get back on my feet, after some years of chronic amoebic dysentery. I probably will go from there to New York.

Just as soon as possible after my return from the clinic I want to make a trip up the West Coast, and I am looking forward to seeing you in Los Angeles.

With warm personal greetings to Mrs. Judd, the family and to you, I remain,

Sincerely,
