October 3rd, 1955

Dr. William Edmondson
Apartado Postal 1007
Tampico, Tamsulipas

Dear Doc:

Although we were in Tampico the day after Hilda, shortage of time prevented our having the pleasure of visiting with Cecil and you. Raquel left some fresh vegetables with Alberto, which I hope you received.

I have just learned that Dr. Ray L. Drinkwater died in Denver last Friday. As you well know, he was the father of our mutual friend Terrell C. I am cabling condolences to Terrell in Los Angeles, since I do not know the family address in Denver.

God willing, we will be in Tampico on or about October 10th to depart next day for Brownsville. If we miss you going North, we will be sure to see you on the way back.

With warmest greetings for the two of you from the two of us, I remain,

Sincerely,

E.R. Silliman
