Dear Tubby:
On the way out of Mexico City, Charlie Bowers and I, together with several executives representing the management of the airport, looked over space available for the Clipper Club.

It appears that on the second floor, almost above the CMA-PAA check-in counter, there are Rooms 223 and 224 presently unoccupied which, we were told, would be available for installation of the Clipper Club. You will recall that to the left of the CMA check-in counter there is a vacant counter space directly in front of entrance #*. It would be my idea to take this additional counter space and construct a stairway from this point to the mezzanine level, connecting with the 223/4. There is plenty of area between the stairway landing and 223/4 for a nice waiting lounge, which I would assume the airport authorities would make available for you without charge within the area now designated as 223/4. Rooms 223/4 are sufficiently large to install a good size cocktail lounge and bar, together with a sandwich bar.

If you have further interest in pursuing this Clipper Club idea, I would be very happy to work with you in arranging the details.
With kind regards, I am
Cordially,
Byron
