Dear Tubby:

Your letter of December 8 and enclosed Christmas check was indeed a pleasant surprise. I honestly did not expect such a generous consideration.

I don't know how to thank you and CMA, but hope that my handling of CMA business will always prove satisfactory and you may be assured of my complete loyalty to a wonderful company.

Edith and I are very disappointed not to see you before Christmas and to be with you on your Wedding Anniversary at Tampico, but we do hope to be down sometime in January and perhaps we can celebrate Christmas and New Years at that time.

As you know, we love you and Raquel, and it is rather a shame that we life so "fur" away from each other.

I am sending a copy of this letter to your office in case this one gets lost at Tampico.

Most sincerely,
