Mr. E. R. Silliman
General Manager
Compania Mexicana de Aviacion, S. A.
Balderas 36
Mexico, D. F.

Dear Mr. Silliman:

There is attached a Personnel Information Bulletin that may have escaped your attention--but is of particular importance to you, since you are within the 10 years preceding Normal Retirement.

Please read this over carefully. It offers an unusual opportunity to take advantage of an option that a number of us had in fact already lost. Now we get another chance at it by this special arrangement.

If, as is most probable, you have a dependent who is likely to survive you, this is a chance to guarantee an income for life for her (or him), irrespective of age, Social Security eligibility, etc. The amount of retirement income you will draw, as well as the amount your Contingent Annuitant--but the period of time is almost certain to be much longer. And the main thing is that there will always be some money coming in, as long as you both shall live.

Very truly yours,

PAN AMERICAN WORLD AIRWAYS, INC.
