appointment at your convenience in order to outline how best this deal can be arranged. He tells me that should Mexicana desire the value of the publicity which would accrue from such a motion picture, he can put together the financing through Banco Nacional, or the Financiera. He knows how to assemble this "package" so as to influence Lic. Garduno, President of the Banco Cinematografico. With the latter's acceptance of the idea the production of this picture would be financed 80 per cent or more in advance. Mr. Lapiner is convinced that it would be an easy job to bring in the balance of the financing particularly since a godly part of it would consist of the "package" which CMA would deliver, i.e., cooperation, facilities, etc.

I have known Mr. Lapiner for a period of eight years and I have found him to be a man of integrity as well as possessing considerable business acumen. I sincerely believe that it would be worthwhile for you to thoroughly explore his proposition. It would result in impressive public relations prestige for Mexicana, and the Mexican government, as well as other emoluments.

Salud,
