Mr. German Seligmann
5 East 57th Street
New York N.Y.

Dear Mr. Seligmann:

To my regret I have to inform you that the preparations for the closing of my apartment at 270 Park Avenue for the summer period have progressed to such an extend that at the time being it is almost impossible for me to get hold of my catalogues and notes and photos.

For this reason, I am not in a position now to send you the photos of the paintings of Calf, Heem, and Seghers.I therefore would suggest that this matter be postponed until fall, when I shall be back again at my apartment in New York.

With kind regards I am,

very truly yours,
