she is talking of going in town Monday with Mrs O'Harra, she is a nice little woman & her husband still has the store what was once in the Darling block. & Dr Golding was put out. the Priest put the Irish against him no one has much use for him these days, he is "tricky". his daughter was married in the fall she has now got a baby, Alice Ewing the same. thats the style now a days in town. They marry on not off.  It does seem good to see the sun an ideal day but cold. we have a taste of winter then its mild again we are lucky to survive such change 
     
Anna Lamb came up Friday afternoon. She is very poorly. her housekeeper goes every day & night. she is very chummy with Iva Lowe thick as two peas in a pod she belongs to everything so guess Anna is alone night & day. she says Maude is still working for Henry but does'nt come home every night she says theres no lights there nights only once in a while
 
I cut back my Poinsetta [[Poinsettia]] last year after after it blossomed & gave it a sunny place & lots of water & now it is budded, six clusters with bright red leaves where the buds start I am watching it eagerly Laura Gebhartd came on perpose the other afternoon to see it & she said I will try it the vert next time. its wonderful she thinks so do I. Mrs Barry is going to do her washing this afternoon she will dry her clothes on the porch throu [[through]] the night Ma
