Irma told us. hope she does & will turn out better than Ethel. Mrs. Barry thinks Helen very ladylike, she told her the minister preached one of the best funeral sermons that she ever listened to. he was a Unitarian minister one they go to hear. we took them into the front room to show them how you fixed it up when you both were home & they liked it very much.

I called up Gregory to see if he would come & finish putting on the rest of the outside windows. he did & now they are all on ready for the cold weather. we asked him to put up our clothes line & now I washed out my clothes & they are hanging on the line so they will be safe even if it comes a snow storm before morning. I treated him to a little rum left in a bottle we found in the sideboard. he remembered the time I gave him a drink once before. no harm guess he likes it occasionly. Mrs Barry thought it funny he asked for it. That nervous trouble seems better his face does'nt show it so much the nerves twitching is not so bad.

When I sent my letter off to Lena Friday I put into it three or four of your old letters, so there is no need of your writing unless you want to right away. she used to like to read your old letters when she came here. today its warmer & very sunny so far Ma Mrs. Barry is to church.
