she is very fond of Mrs Barry a nice little girlish piece she is very Frenchy. they won out on the drug store in spite of Dr Goldings treachery. 

Myrtie goes up to Vermont to day. they took Mrs Heart down to New Jersey one day last week on the train. she stood the journey pretty well Myrtie said. Alfred called up on the phone & talked with me. he came to town on a short trip I suppose. Dicks wife will have the care of the mother, its a pity she does'nt pass on. Alfred lives in Pennsylvania. 

I think by the sound of Lenas post card she is getting sick of the South. it is too bad for we feel that is the place for her. Mamie Kate the same. she came home from there, she is now in New Jersey with Ally Mrs Barry's sister, in a very low condition, but may pull through. they are very fond of each other.

Gladys her mother & Charleys folks went up to Vermont. they say Roy sold his house & moved to West Brattleborough but that he was away & so they did'nt see him. he has a neat little house & a small piece of land he owns. I think Gladys likes him, but she may never marry but wants to. she might enjoy a home of her own too bad she can't have one Ma
