three houses in town had been robbed & quite a lot of things stolen, hope they have put a stop to the breaks but think there must have been others concerned. A girl drove their car. they wont talk. Well I went to the funeral yesterday, we started at one O'clock Irma didnt get home untill half past twelve from the bank, but she drove pretty fast & got there on time. we were the only relatives on Mamies side of the house & Helen was so pleased to think we came & told Irma to follow on after their car home, as she was buried in the family lot in Evergreen cemetery. there were a lot of people at the funeral (neighbors) & we sat down stairs, as I didnt care to climb the stairs there being no banister. she had a lot of flowers the house looked fine. Helen said for the last month she had been failing & had lost her senses the last two weeks, so they had a nurse the last week of her life. None of the Worcester folks were there the journey was long, but the care rode easy, so I stood the journey pretty well & was glad I went & Helen said two or three times she was also glad I could come. after we are so old there are very few to mourn. we have out lived the most of them thats the sad part of a long life. I wish there was some way to hear from Mary French. I dont know where she is now Ma
