will be buried in Brockton. she lived a fortnight after she was taken with an Embolism. Myrtie was there to see her last week, guess Alice didn't go she was glad to be rid of her. I liked her & would have gone there if it had been possible, she used to send me her regards. guess she took no comfort there but her sons wife wouldnt have her, so Brockton supported her. funny she always had a plenty, they say the son fooled it away after he got possession of the money.

I am glad you are painting that seems the time for you to relax. I go out to my woodpile & sit in the sun & work up the wood it is nearly all used up now so I will have to find something else to occupy my attention. if I could walk that would be what I would enjoy, my legs are awful stiff the joints need oiling. after sitting long in one position its hard work to walk. the same when in bed its hard to lie on one side any length of time. it is very evident guess I'm growing old.

We are having a lovely harvest moon the days are very beautiful also hope you enjoy the rides it will help you to get rid of your cold before cold weather sets in glad the Piano is used. hope she learns to play. you are able to teach her a lot
