Mary Holmes Winslow called up yesterday to tell us that she was sorry she was away that day we called with Mrs Gilcher, & would come & take us to ride & carry us up to see her house, which every body says is very beautiful Alice Woods sold her a lot of our old furniture that her father took when he moved from the old place. she had those ancient pieces all fixed up so Mrs Barry says they look fine. she knows how & they might as well be there as any where I suppose. well glad the Piano got there without a scratch & hope its does you some good Ma
